Crocs India launches an exclusive kids apparel line
Brand forays into apparel segment
Delhi, September 22, 2014 – Crocs Inc. (NASDAQ: CROX), leading provider of innovative casual footwear, announces the launch of kids apparel in India. It has been a constant endeavor from Crocs to give consumers something new and exciting to look forward to. As part of this expansion, Crocs has forayed into the apparel segment in India, specifically for kids with the launch of the exclusive kids’ apparel line. This line of products is currently available in Jabong.com and FirstCry.com.
Crocs apparel for kids is a fun and colorful collection of tees, jumpers and hoodies. This foray into the apparel segment comes from a need to bridge the gap in the market for good quality ready to wear kids’ apparel at an affordable price range. The brand offers body suits for infants, a range of fun and vibrant tees and hoodies for the cold weather. The collection also offers tunics and dresses for young girls.
Speaking of the launch, Mr. Nissan Joseph, General Manager, Crocs India said, “Crocs has got a great response in India so far and we feel it is the right time to introduce the kids apparel line as we see potential in this segment. The collection like our footwear is stylish yet very comfortable, something that is a pre-requisite in kids apparel. Crocs began its operations in India in the year 2007. With this new opening, Crocs now has 34 exclusive stores (including kiosks and factory outlets) in the country. Crocs products are also available in more than 15 cities across India in more than 300 multi-brand outlets.
