Formed in 2001, AlterEgoz consists of a highly talented set of musicians who have put in more than 15 years of music individually and collectively. The uniqueness of the band lies in its versatility; be it in live performances, soundtracks for movies or involvement in social causes.

The band has played for an exclusive NDTV feature and performed during the live telecast of Sahara TV's IPL launch programme, in which all major bands from across the country were featured.

AlterEgoz composed the song Dil Pe Math Lo, Haath Main Lo for Nagesh Kukunoor and is probably the first band from Hyderabad to have composed an English song for a Telugu Film called Johnny. The band composed a song in support of a awareness campaign conducted by the Hyderabad Traffic Police.
