After a successful 1^st & 2^nd edition, the Inorbit team with NEB Sports is back with the 3rd edition of the Inorbit Durgam Cheruvu Run (IDCR). The run will start from Inorbit Mall which will be the holding area and will go across the Durgam Cheruvu bridge, Jubilee Hills Rd no 45, T Hub, Knowledge City, IKEA junction. All the safety measures are implemented in cooperation with the Health Authorities to ensure all participants have a safe and highly satisfactory Race experience.

Running the #IDCR promises to be a satisfying and safe event in the times of unlocking from the Covid-19 Pandemic. The race has been designed with several Covid-19 safety measures and alterations so that norms of the mask, social distancing, sanitization are maintained without compromising on the thrill of a spectacular run.

The 3^rd edition is scheduled to be held on 29th January 2023, starting from Inorbit Mall at the foot of Durgam Cheruvu Bridge, and will run a Half Marathon (21.097Km), Timed 10K (10Km) & 5K Fun Run (5Km) distance. The exact route will be disclosed once finalized with the authorities. The Half Marathon and Timed 10K race will have an age category and there will be no open category. To maintain social distancing, there will be a wave start to avoid bunching of the runners at the start point. The race will be flagged off in waves with markings and social distancing and all prizes and timings will be on Net Time and not Gun Time. It is decided to give prizes to maintain the thrill of the run. The elite category based on the timing will be flagged off first to maintain social distancing and avoid overtaking along the route.

The route itself has been planned such that there is no overlapping of the runners and the breadth of the route and number of runners are simulated to ensure that runners need not brush against each other in the quest for personal best timings. The 5K route takes into account similar considerations and they will be flagged off in waves.
